The Photonic Internet Forum (PIF) and the OIF hosted a half-day workshop, open to the public, on Monday, October 20th, adjacent to the OIF Q414 Technical Meeting. Representatives from the PIF and the OIF presented on 400G modulation formats and key components, as well as wide area Software Defined Networking (SDN) and optical SDN.
