Types of Membership

Three levels of membership are available: Principal, Auditing and/or Academic membership. These separate levels of membership provide members a choice of the level of involvement and contributions that they are capable of investing in the OIF. Membership fees are quarterly pro-rated, with the exception of Academic membership and members that are re-joining.  OIF membership year runs from June 1 – May 31, and are pro-rated accordingly.  If joining in the last quarter of the membership year (March-May), Company will be invoiced for the current quarter along with the entire amount for the upcoming membership year.

New member accounts will not be activated until membership dues are paid in full.

Principal Membership

  • $9,500 per year
    Includes three (3) attendees at any/all Technical Committee and Market Awareness & Education meetings (additional attendees will be charged $250/meeting)
  • $4,900 per year (For companies with less than $10 MM annual revenue)
    Includes two (2) attendees at any/all Technical Committee and Market Awareness & Education meetings (additional attendees will be charged $250/meeting)

Principal Members are entitled to:

  • Attend Working Committees, Annual, General and Special meetings
  • Access to all working documents and meeting minutes
  • One vote on all Forum issues (Elections, Technical Documents)
  • Eligible to hold Board of Director, Technical Committee and Market Awareness & Education officer position
  • Eligible to hold Technical Committee Working Group Chair positions
  • Submit Technical Committee Contributions
  • Subscribe to all OIF email exploder lists
  • Participate in OIF Interoperability Demonstrations
  • Attend “OIF Day” Events
  • Attend OIF Workshops

Auditing Membership – $4,500 per year

Auditing Members are entitled to:

  • Attend the Working Committees, Annual and Technical Committee meetings, although not allowed to contribute/comment during Working Group Work Sessions
  • Access to all working documents and meeting minutes
  • Subscribe to OIF email exploder lists
  • Attend other OIF member events

Academic Membership $1,000 p/year

Per the OIF Bylaws, Article 3.2 please state whether Company has any Affiliates (defined below) that are already members of the OIF.
“Affiliate” means any entity which controls or is controlled by a [Member] or which, together with a Member, is under the common control by a third party, in each case where such control results, either directly or indirectly, from (a) ownership of more than fifty percent (50%) of the voting securities, equity or membership interests of the entity in question, or (b) the ability to direct the management and activities of such entity, whether by management, contract, license, or otherwise.
